Rhode Island Natural Medicine, LLC, the office of Dr. Bridget Casey, is hiring a part-time or full-time Naturopathic Physician. This is a busy, currently single-practitioner office with a great patient base and growing number of referrals. We cannot keep up with demand and currently have a wait list of patients to be seen. We are looking to hire a Naturopathic Physician who is passionate, curious, enjoys working with patients, has strong communication skills and is detail oriented.
RINM focuses on using a traditional style of Naturopathic Medicine – emphasizing diet and lifestyle recommendations, as well as utilizing homeopathy, herbal medicine, supplements and nutraceuticals. We would like to hire a physician who is passionate about and comfortable using these core naturopathic tools.
Dr. Casey sees a variety of patients and we hope you will be comfortable doing the same. We can also market your particular skills or areas of interest for new patients. Dr. Casey is willing to mentor and train a new practitioner.
Experience with Applied Kinesiology or muscle-testing would be preferred, but not necessary. A dual-degree with acupuncture would be a bonus.
Other things to note:
- We do not practice primary care medicine as NDs in Rhode Island, however we do have a wide-ranging family practice. Most visits are for chronic health conditions (vs acute).
- We do not utilize prescription medications nor IV therapy, as these modalities are not part of the scope of practice in Rhode Island.
- We have remote reception to handle calls/scheduling, as well as an online booking and billing system that is very easy to use. Practitioner must be willing to monitor his/her own schedule to some degree.
- We use a simple EHR system for charting and patient intake forms, not paper charts.
- Visits are done both in-person and remotely via telemedicine. You will be sharing the office with Dr. Casey for in-person visits, so would have a split schedule and no need to furnish the space, etc. Scheduling will be discussed and agreed-upon, mutually.
- Compensation is competitive. Details will be discussed.
- This is a cash-based practice and no insurance paneling will be needed.
